At Newaygo Brewing Company, Co-Owner Krista Looman and I had at look and took a sip of what was on tap. Together, we paired common characteristics between the beers she poured and the ties she wore.
White River Pils To match up with the floral, Saaz hops of this pilsner, we selected neckware equally as bright and light - the Jeanne Kathryn tie. Seamless and light, the neat, clean mouthfeel was ideal with a flavor versatile enough to go with a number of outfits or menu options.
Longer Table Pale Ale With the sweet, bready malt, and fruity hop bouquet of this pale ale, we selected neckware equally as vivid and expressive - the Deborah Jean tie. Medium-bodied, this beer, and the tie as well, have beautiful texture that more than pleases the palate and the eye.
Goats-In-Rows Oatmeal Stout It was this semi-dry British stout that we paired with the Toby Ann tie. Both are richly steadfast and satisfying with classic, timeless style. Rich in character, both the stout and the tie are entirely memorable.
